New Orleans-based Neyow’s Creole Cafe is opening an Atlanta location this year.
The restaurant will open this spring at 131 Walker St. in Castleberry Hill, Atlanta Business Chronicle reports.
Neyow’s menu offers cajun staples including gumbo, grilled oysters and po’boys as well as fried chicken, ribs and wings. Weekly specials include stuffed pork chops, smothered chicken and grilled fish and stuffed crab, with desserts such as bread pudding, beignet sticks and pecan cobbler.
The 5,858 square-foot space will feature a 2,000 square-foot rooftop bar and patio
Owners Tamla Pierre-Taylor and Tim Dublecet, who also operate a Neyow’s location in Houston, said they initally thought about expanding to Atlanta after Pierre-Taylor’s son studied at the Art Institute of Atlanta.
In addition to Neyow’s, 131 Walker St. will also be home to Black Coffee ATL, a coffee bar and wine shop, Business Chronicle reports.
Pierre-Taylor and Dublecet were not immediately available for comment.
