A New Zealand pie shop, a Brazilian bakery and a Viking-themed brewpub were all part of the lineup of restaurant opening this month in metro Atlanta.

Arches Brewing. The longtime Hapeville brewery closed last year and reopened its taproom at the Atlanta Utility Works development in East Point.

Big Dave’s Cheesesteaks. The cheesesteak restaurant opened on Marietta Street several months after the original Big Dave’s downtown location was forced to close due to damage from a burst pipe.

Boqueria. The Spanish-style tapas bar opened in Midtown’s Colony Square development with dishes like gambas al ajillo and and patatas bravas on the menu.

Heaps. The New Zealand savory pie pop-up opened its first brick-and-mortar in Decatur with a menu or pies, fish and chips and other dishes.

MJQ Concourse. The longtime Ponce de Leon Avenue nightclub opened its new location at Underground Atlanta in the former Dante’s Down the Hatch space.

Politan Row at the Forum. The latest metro Atlanta Polital Row food hall opened in Peachtree Corners with seven stalls including 26 Thai, Sheesh Mediterranean Gekko Kitchen, Boca Taqueria, Kimchi Red, LOL Burger Bar and Sahirah Kebab & Curry.
