If you’re planning on going out to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day, you’ll want to bundle up.
Monday is going to be a cold one, as temperatures dip back to seasonal levels after a warm streak.
The day will start off with temperatures in the 20s and 30s, according to Channel 2 Action News Meteorologist Katie Walls.
The wind chill will make the temperatures feel like they are in the teens and single digits.
The afternoon won’t feel much warmer, as a high of just 43 degrees is in the forecast.
On the bright side, precipitation won’t be a problem. Monday should bring plenty of sunshine and a low chance of rain, according to Walls.
That’s especially good news for folks planning to head to a parade on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

MARTA will operate on what is normally its Saturday schedule in observance of the King Day holiday, the transportation service said. Its streetcar will run on its Sunday schedule.
Drivers near Sandy Springs should be wary of I-285 in the afternoon. Traffic will be paced in the area as the Georgia Department of Transportation conducts a controlled blast as a part of ongoing construction.
The blast will take place at 1:30 p.m. between the Perimeter Center Parkway overpass and Ashford Dunwoody Road.
