If you're planning on sticking around town this holiday weekend, here's one way to pay tribute to those who have served our country.

On Memorial Day, May 31, the Atlanta Braves will honor the United States Military in a pre-game celebration. Over 200 active duty soldiers from Fort Benning, Moody Air Force Base, Warner Robins Air Force Base, and Fort Gordon will take the field for a special Memorial Day salute to our troops.

The soldiers will present a giant American flag in the outfield and line the base paths. In a special on-field tribute, the Braves will honor local Purple Heart recipients, including veterans from World War II, Vietnam, the Korean Conflict, the Gulf War, and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Two A-10 Fighter Jets from Moody Air Force Base will perform a flyover at the conclusion of the National Anthem.

Then it's time to play ball with the Atlanta Braves taking on the Philadelphia Phillies at 1:10 p.m.

After the game, celebrate summer with a free Beach Boys concert!

Tickets in Outfield Pavilion seats which are regularly priced at $24 each are now discounted by 40% to just $15, including attendance to the free concert.

How can you get in on this deal? Start the ticket buying process by visiting Travelzoo for a required special code: http://www.travelzoo.com/newsflash/3011643-818592

If that discount still doesn't fit your budget, game tickets start as low as $6. If you would like to go down on to the field after the game to dance to the Beach Boys, upgrade your ticket for $25 for a VIP Field Pass.
