Q: I think Wet and Wild discontinued my lip color, and I cannot recreate it with other brands. The color is 370S Lolly Popstar. I found some used on eBay for $44! Can you help? Thanks. — Marcia Jaffe, Sandy Springs

A: Marcia. I see three tubes on Amazon for $32.99 each, which is a lot, but, unfortunately, that’s what often happens when a product gets discontinued. I looked at the 370S Lolly Popstar lipstick on eBay, and the $44 price is for three new and sealed tubes. So, while that’s far above the $3 price tag you probably paid for the original lipstick, that’s not a terrible deal. The other online marketplace where I found Wet n Wild MegaShield 370S Lolly Popstar was bonanza.com. The site currently stocks about three tubes, each selling for $32.66, not including shipping, making that eBay listing a decent deal after all.
Q: Is there a good place in the Alpharetta area that repairs leather handbags? My mother’s favorite handbag is in good condition inside, but the outside could use some TLC. She refuses to get rid of it. Help. — Cyn Scott, email
A: You can take your mother’s bag to Atlanta Shoe and Leather, 900 Mansell Road, Roswell, 678-404-5459. Owners Shannon and Ken Bobo repair sneakers, dress shoes, luggage, and other assorted leather items.
