Q: We have a heavy set of outdoor wind chimes that need to be restrung professionally and a custom-made Roman shade that needs to be restrung. Thanks. — Donna Harms, Duluth
A: Donna, I have two places for you to contact regarding your shades. Bloomin’ Blinds, 678-883-1618, bloominblinds.com, sells window coverings and offers on-site repairs for blinds, shades and shutters. Another option is Blind and Shade Repair of Atlanta, 2730 Mountain Industrial Blvd., Tucker, 770-270-0849. The company is the authorized service center for Hunter Douglas window coverings in Georgia. For your wind chime, you can email Dan Chambers at gasolar500@yahoo.com. He restrings and repairs wind chimes and makes custom wind chimes, some from wine bottles. You can see samples of his work on his Facebook page, Georgia Wine Chimes.

Barbara from Lawrenceville has been buying Gracious Grits from Publix for ages. They came fully cooked in a microwaveable container. Unfortunately, Ohio-based Lakeview Farms, which turns out a variety of refrigerated dips, salsas and desserts, discontinued Gracious Grits. Publix purchased the final partial production run in December 2023 and sold the last unit in February 2024.
