Q: I am looking for a person who can repair a vinyl ottoman for me. I have two rather expensive ottomans (my decorator told me they were leather, but I found out from my upholsterer that they are actually vinyl), and one of them has a small tear in it. Rather than have to buy two new ottomans, I’m hoping to find someone who can touch up or patch the tear on the one ottoman I currently have. Thank you so much. — Claudia Tunick, Sandy Springs

Q: I was hoping you could help me find a place to recycle disposable vapes. I have searched online to no avail. I appreciate any help you can offer. Thank you. — Phillip Anderson, Snellville
A: E-cigarettes use lithium batteries, and nicotine is toxic and poses environmental risks, so they are considered hazardous waste. Live Thrive operates the Centers for Hard to Recycle Materials (CHaRM), which boasts two permanent drop-off facilities — Live Thrive, 1110 Hill St., Atlanta, and the second location at 1225 Columbia Drive, Decatur, 404-600-6386 (this is the number for both locations). The facilities accept about a hundred items, including wine corks, E-cigarettes, electronics and certain chemicals. Drop-offs are by appointment only, and there is a charge. Go to livethrive.org for more information.

For years, Frank Manfre and his family used L.E. Roselli’s pizza sauce from Roselli’s Italian Market in Medford, New Jersey, where the deli offered a meat and plain version. The market bottled and sold the sauce in various local stores, including Publix, where Manfre had been buying it for years — until he could no longer find it. Unfortunately, Roselli’s Italian Market stopped production of the pizza sauce last September and will no longer offer any mail-order items.
