Let the Big Dawg Eat! One of Atlanta’s most iconic vegan joints is expected to open in Athens on Sunday, according to a news release.

Pinky Cole, the plant-based visionary behind Slutty Vegan, is introducing her brand to the home of the Georgia Bulldogs. This will be the restaurant’s fifth location since its inception in 2018.

The restaurant, located at 700 Baxter Street on the edge of the University of Georgia’s campus, will serve Slutty Vegan’s iconic plant-based burgers “all donning racy names” such as One Night Stand, Fussy Hussy and Heaux Boy for takeout and delivery. The restaurant will also offer sandwiches, sides and desserts.

“We’re excited to open Slutty Vegan in one of the country’s greatest college towns in our home state and bring our vibes and more vegan options to the Classic City,” said Cole.

The other four Georgia locations are in Atlanta’s Edgewood and West View neighborhoods, as well as Jonesboro and Duluth. Upcoming locations in Birmingham, Alabama, and Brooklyn, New York, have also been announced.
