In a hilarious moment capturing hearts across the internet, a 4-year-old named Stori reminds everyone why kids are the ultimate scene-stealers.

The now-viral video shows Stori at her preschool’s Christmas performance, confidently stepping up to the microphone as the show was wrapping up, ready to deliver her impromptu message.

“I am very proud of myself, and all of my other friends inside my class,” she confidently announced. When parents thought the sweet sentiment was complete, Stori added a twist: “And my class is really sweet … except, one little boy. I need to tell you ... ” But before she could spill any details, her principal intervened with a nervous laugh. Stori is then seen walking off the stage, waving.

Speaking to Today, Stori’s mother, Brenna Massa, shared that her daughter’s actions weren’t surprising. “Wherever we go, she makes friends. Everybody always says she’s an old soul, just connects with people. She loves to dance. She’s loved to sing since she was tiny.”

The video, recorded by one of the moms, according to the network, has been shared widely on social media. “Big Brother” star Kat Dunn’s repost has received nearly 400,000 likes of its own.

Millions have watched Stori’s confident mic drop, with one commenter joking: “The tea she possesses is piping hot, no doubt! Give her back the mic!”

As for the untold story? Massa later revealed to Today that Stori was referring to an incident from the previous year when a classmate had made a particularly loud noise that stuck in her memory.

“I haven’t even heard about this kid in so long, so I was surprised she wanted to make this announcement.”
