According to a new survey, this is Georgia’s favorite hot sauce

There are many varieties of hot sauces in the world, which makes it hard to truly pick a favorite. Whether you like spicy, sweet or tangy, there’s a flavor perfect for your taste buds.

However, according to a new study released by Instacart, Georgians do have a preference — Texas Pete.

According to the data collected, Louisiana Hot Sauce and Texas Pete are fan favorites for most Southern states. While Tobasco was No. 1 for Louisiana, for Florida, Crystal hot sauce was the top choice.

“Americans are passionate about hot sauce and they are not shy about expressing their affinity for specific brands and flavors,” Instacart trends expert Laurentia Romaniuk told HuffPost.

“The growing popularity of hot sauce and its wide variety of flavors and styles is a reflection of an increasingly diverse American population,” she said.

“The reduced supply of the beloved rooster sauce left hot sauce enthusiasts to seek alternatives, but thankfully, we seem to be out of the worst of it,” Romaniuk said. “Our latest findings confirm a resurgence of Sriracha in people’s carts, marking a welcomed comeback among consumers.”

While Louisianna Hot Sauce does have its perks, there are many local options to choose from.

If you want to venture away from a major brand and support a fellow Georgian, here are four hot sauces created in the Peach State:
