Jack Leo is a sports writer and reporter for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Jack worked for the AJC and its UGA-focused brand, DawgNation, throughout his four years studying journalism and sports media at Georgia State University and the University of Georgia. He's now focused on telling stories about Georgia communities and homegrown athletes through AJC Varsity's high school sports coverage. Jack has covered high school, college and professional sports over the past four years for the AJC. Before that, he held similar roles in two years working for the Gwinnett Daily Post. He's also on the selection board for the Football Writer's Association of America's Freshman All-American Team and Steve Spurrier First-Year Coach of the Year Award.
