VIDEO: Braves’ Freddie Freeman hit by pitch on left hand

Atlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman exited Wednesday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies after being hit by a pitch on the same left hand that was injured last season.

After the pitch from Phillies pitcher Hoby Milner left Freeman in visible pain, the nine-year veteran left the game and did not return.

Freeman broke his left wrist last season after being hit by a pitch during a game and missed seven weeks of the season while recovering.

The Braves went on to win the game 7-3 and SunTrust Park series against the Phillies, marking the first time the Braves have won the first three home series of the season since 2000.
