And they're off at the 2015 AJC Peachtree Road Race on Saturday, July 4, 2015.

First-time runners and veterans alike, take notice: While registering for this year's Atlanta Journal-Constituion Peachtree Road Race you can sign-up for a 12-week training course through the Atlanta Track Club — one way to work on improving you finish time or, for first-timers, to prep for your first 10K.

The 2016 In-Training for Peachtree 10K training program offers weekly pace group runs, weekly training emails, monthly seminars and more, according to the track club. The sessions are held each Saturday morning at various metro Atlanta locations from April 9 to June 25, with midweek workouts, on Wednesday night, starting April 20.

The Braves Country 5K, on June 11, replaces that Saturday's session and training program participants will run the race for free. The Singleton 5K, on April 16, will be an optional race for participants to run for free.

You can register for the program at the same time you enter the lottery for this year's road race. Registration for the training will also be offered as a stand-alone option through the track club's website, after March 22.
