Update: 2019 Braves Spring Training TV schedule: Click here

Good morning. This is LEADOFF, today’s early buzz in Atlanta sports.

Fox Sports South and Fox Sports Southeast will televise 158 regular-season Braves games this year with a familiar broadcast lineup.

The regional sports networks said Tuesday that, as expected, play-by-play announcer Chip Caray will return for a 15th season in the Braves’ broadcast booth and color analyst Joe Simpson, recently inducted into the Braves Hall of Fame, for a 27th season.

Also back: former pitcher Tom Glavine as an analyst for select games, former pitcher Paul Byrd as an in-game reporter and analyst for some games, and Kelsey Wingert as an in-game reporter and occasional host for the Braves Live pregame and postgame shows.

Jerome Jurenovich will return as lead host for Braves Live, and Rebecca Kaple will return to host those shows for some games. Former players Brian Jordan, Nick Green and Jeff Francoeur also are back as Braves Live analysts. Francoeur will join the booth as a game analyst at times.

The Braves’ season opener against the Phillies on March 29 at SunTrust Park will be televised on Fox Sports Southeast. The game starts at 4 p.m., with expanded pregame coverage beginning at 1 p.m.

The four games not scheduled to air on Fox Sports South or Fox Sports Southeast this season are slated for national telecasts on Fox and FS1.

All games televised on a Fox Sports network also will be live-streamed on the Fox Sports Go app.
