Top-ranked North Forsyth is coming off a 69-25 victory against West Forsyth Friday and a 70-36 victory against South Forsyth Saturday to move to 11-0 on the season as it leads Class 6A in the poll.
The Raiders top No. 2 Norcross, No. 3 Carrollton, No. 4 Buford and No. 5 North Paulding in the standings. Cherokee, Lowndes, Grayson, Archer and Newton round out the top 10.
Langston Hughes (7-1, 3-0) is coming off a 62-55 loss to Class 1A-3A No. 1 Hebron Christian at Norcross but maintains its top-spot in the Class 5A standings ahead of Woodward Academy, River Ridge, Milton and Morrow.
Creekside (12-0) is coming off a 55-31 victory against North Carolina’s South Garner and is ranked atop Class 4A ahead of Marist, Jackson-Atlanta, North Oconee and Kell. The top-ranked Seminoles will face Harris County on the road Friday.
Top-ranked Pickens (7-0, 3-0) leads the Class 3A standings and is riding momentum from a 53-46 victory against North Hall Friday in Region 6 play. The Dragons lead Baldwin, Jefferson, Oconee County and Fayette County in the top 5.
Josey is 7-0 after moving past Morgan County 52-30 and Lakeside-Evans 67-27 last week and will host Class 1A-3A Private No. 2 St. Francis Saturday which will be a measuring stick for the Eagles. Thomson, Butler, Murray County and Carver-Columbus fill the Class 2A top 5.
Model is ranked atop Class A Division I with Central-Macon, Elbert County, Fannin County and Lamar County in the top 5. Taylor County tops Class A Division II and leads Bryan County, Wilcox County, Early County and Terrell County. Hebron leads St. Francis, Mount Paran, Southwest Atlanta Christian and Holy Innocents’ in the Class 1A-3A Private standings.
