Vijay Singh turned back the clock in the first round of the 2018 Masters.

Not all the way back to 2000, but not bad for someone 18 years removed from winning his green jacket.

Singh shot a 1-under par 71 on Thursday. The 55-year old started with two birdies and remained in red numbers the entire round, going as low at 3-under par.

Singh’s best finish in the past in the past eight years was a tie for 27th with four missed cuts, including the last two tournaments.
