Hole of the day

The par-3 No. 12 played a big role in the outcome as Francesco Molinari and Tony Finau, both in the final grouping with Tiger Woods, hit balls in the water and ended with double bogeys. It all but knocked them out of contention as Woods hit the center of the green and two putted for par. The group ahead saw a similar fate for two golfers in contention and Brooks Koepka and Ian Poulter also found the water and ended with double bogeys. That’s four contenders in six to fall be the way side.
