A member of the Georgia Tech linebacker corps decided to transfer.

Caleb Dozier, a freshman, announced Tuesday on X, formerly Twitter, that he is in the NCAA’s transfer portal. Dozier did not appear in a game during his one season with the Yellow Jackets.

A graduate of Headland High School in Dothan, Alabama, Dozier (6-foot-2, 225 pounds) was a three-star prospect, according to the 247Sports Composite. He chose Tech over scholarship offers from Central Florida, Houston and Mississippi State, among others.

Dozier joins offensive linemen Patrick Screws, Corey Robinson and Jordan Brown, defensive linemen Horace Lockett, Uche Iloh and Romello Height, wide receivers Eric Singleton Jr., Christian Leary and Leo Blackburn, defensive back Taye Seymore, running back Evan Dickens and quarterback Zach Pyron as Jackets who have left Tech this offseason.
