Georgia Tech jumps into the deep end in its first ACC game of the season, on the road against conference-powerhouse Clemson.

The game offers a chance to see if this season’s group of Yellow Jackets can fare better against the Tigers than recent teams have. Clemson has won the past six games in this series, coinciding with the Tigers’ six consecutive ACC championships. The combined score for the past three games: Clemson 174, Tech 42.

Of course, Clemson has been defeating a lot of teams recently. The Tigers had a 79-7 overall record in those six years.

This seems like a tall task, though, for a team that lost to Northern Illinois two weeks ago.
