One of Georgia Tech’s freshman offensive lineman decided not to return for the 2025 season.

Rivals reported Monday that Kai Greer entered the NCAA’s transfer portal. Greer (6-foot-6, 280 pounds) did not play this past season for the Yellow Jackets.

A graduate of Marvin Ridge High School in Charlotte, North Carolina, Greer was considered a three-star prospect, according to the 247Sports Composite, in the class of 2024 and received nearly 30 scholarship offers. He committed to Arkansas before signing with Tech.

Greer joins fellow offensive linemen Patrick Screws, Corey Robinson and Jordan Brown, defensive linemen Horace Lockett, Uche Iloh and Romello Height, wide receivers Eric Singleton Jr., Christian Leary and Leo Blackburn, defensive back Taye Seymore, running back Evan Dickens, linebacker Caleb Dozier and quarterback Zach Pyron as Jackets who have left Tech this offseason.
