The Georgia Tech Athletic Association will sell a limited number of game-worn white “honeycomb” helmets to select Georgia Tech fans.

Helmets can be purchased for $600 beginning at 10 a.m. Monday. Sales go toward the renovation of Georgia Tech football’s student lounge and recovery area.

The game-worn helmets— which were discontinued as part of the school's brand refinement announced in April— were worn by the Yellow Jackets during wins over Miami, Pitt and Clemson in 2014, the instant classic "Miracle on Techwood Drive" win over Florida State in 2015 and the 2016 TaxSlayer Bowl win over Kentucky.

Some rules do apply. To purchase a game-worn helmet, fans must be either a 2018 football season-ticket holder, an active Alexander-Tharpe Fund member at least at the Heisman level or a Life Member or the fan must have contributor to the 2018 Georgia Tech Football Recruiting Challenge.

Fans interested fans in becoming eligible for the sale must either purchase season tickets, make a gift of at least $1,000 to the A-T Fund or make a gift of at least $1,000 to the 2018 Georgia Tech Football Recruiting Challenge by 11:59 p.m. Sunday evening.
