Former Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett isn’t very familiar with the feelings that come from losing a game.

The Bulldogs won their last 17 games and two national championships with Bennett as their QB. But he is 0-2 in the NFL’s exhibition season with the Los Angeles Rams.

The good news for Bennett is he is getting a lot of playing time to show what he can do as a pro.

Bennett played most of the game for the second exhibition in a row Saturday night but the Rams lost to the Las Vegas Raiders 34-17.

Bennett ran for a touchdown but also had an interception returned for a Raiders score as the Rams fell to 0-2.

Bennett completed 15 of 24 passes for 142 yards, with no touchdowns and the one interception. He ran one time for the 4-yard touchdown and was not sacked.

The Rams’ other backup QB, Brett Rypien, entered late in the game and was 4 of 4 passing for 14 yards. Bennett and Rypien are competing for the No. 2 QB job behind former Bulldogs star Matthew Stafford.

Former Georgia running back Zamir White carried 10 times for 40 yards for the Raiders (2-0).

Bennett was 17 for 29 for 191 yards with a TD and no interceptions in his first NFL game a week earlier but the Rams lost that game to the Chargers 34-17 too.

The Bulldogs, meanwhile, named Carson Beck as their new starting QB Saturday, following Bennett, who was 29-3 as a starter.
