The name is the same, but the game has changed: The College Football Playoff is back for its 11th straight year with one massive twist: the field has been expanded to 12 teams, adding more games, several newcomers, on-campus first-round games and much more mayhem.

The expanded field will be whittled down until just two remain to compete for the national championship at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, where the first kings of the new college football world will be crowned.
