Falcons coach Dan Quinn has a plan for the second half of the season.

“Really for us, this is our new season,” Quinn said Wednesday.

The Falcons went 1-7 over the first half of the season before their bye week.

“I told everybody if we have a chance to elevate in every space that we do (things), we’re going to try for it,” Quinn said. “Players, coaches, the whole thing. It’s going to take a lot of energy and discipline to do that, but we’ve got plenty to work on. This Sunday, we are looking to how we want to play. We are going to focus on that as much as we can. Let’s get it right.”

The first game of the new season has the Falcons on the road against the Saints (7-1) at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
