Falcons rookie right tackle Kaleb McGary became ill near the end of the non-padded practice Tuesday and was taken to the locker room, according to the Falcons.

McGary, who’s in a battle with Ty Sambrailo for the starting right tackle spot, was selected in the first round (31st overall) of the NFL draft.

“Left the field late in practice due to being ill,” according to a team spokesman.
