Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones said that he’s in a “great place” with his contract situation with the team.

There’s been speculation that a deal is in place, but can’t be signed until a year after his previous extension, per the collective bargaining agreement.

Jones said that any new contract was “confidential” and that was an “in-house” matter.

Jones signed his most recent contract extension July 27. Jones' new deal is expected to average more than $20 million per year.
