Despite a 14-point halftime margin, NBC’s Falcons-Saints on Thanksgiving night posted an 11.4/24 overnight (not including digital) rating. It was the best for an NBC Thanksgiving night game since 2015 and was up 18 percent from last year (9.7/20 for Giants-Redskins).

The game peaked at 12.1/25 overnight from 9-9:15 p.m. ET and 9:30-9:45 p.m.

The Saints delivered a 75 share in New Orleans (meaning three of every four homes with TVs in use was watching NBC) – second best for Saints in NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” package, behind only the 78 share for the Saints’ 2010 season opener, when the defending Super Bowl champs hosted Brett Favre and the Vikings.

The top five markets for Falcons-Saints: New Orleans 52.3/75; Norfolk 17.0/32; Atlanta 16.7/34; Buffalo 14.0/26; Minneapolis 13.7/29

The next five: Las Vegas 13.6/27; Houston 13.4/29; Denver 13.4/30; Kansas City 13.2/25; West Palm Beach 13.2/24.
