Game-by-game look at the Atlanta Falcons 2011 season.

After finishing 13-3 and winning the NFC South last season, the Falcons were anxious to begin the 2011 season - and hopefully end on a better note. A game-by-game look at the season thus far.

Game 1: Chicago 30, Atlanta 12 .... Not a good opening for the Falcons, who didn't score an offensive touchdown against the Bears. The lone TD came on a 50-yard interception return by Kroy Biermann.

Game 2: Atlanta 35, Philadelphia 31 .... It was billed as Matt Ryan vs. Michael Vick and the Falcons QB delivered with four touchdown passes ....

.... and led the team on the game-winning drive which ended with Michael Turner's TD run.

Game 3: Tampa Bay 16, Atlanta 13 .... Tampa's defense was solid in the game, forcing three turnovers and sacking Ryan four times. The loss ended the Falcons' five-game winning streak in the series.
