Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan, who passed for a career-high 351 yards Sunday against the arch-rival New Orleans Saints, hopes to get back on track against Tennessee.

Here’s a brief Q&A involving Ryan and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s D. Orlando Ledbetter.

Q: How do you assess Tennessee’s defense?

A: They're very physical. They do a good job changing up personnel on you. They do a lot of different things with their personnel groupings on the defensive side of the ball. I think, in their nickel, Cortland Finnegan's a really good player.

Q: Do you believe that wide receiver Roddy White is frustrated?

A: In terms of frustration levels, you'd have to ask him. I know that I've seen Roddy in here working his butt off during the week. He works really hard. His mental attitude has been really good. We all need to just make plays and, collectively, we just haven't done that.

Q: Is Tennessee flying under the radar at 5-4?

A: I think the public perception is probably that they do fly a little bit under the radar, but the way I judge it is, when you turn that film on and you start to watch them at the beginning of the week, the tape doesn't lie. ... It's going to be a tough, physical game on Sunday.
