Before the 2017 season, no AJC Super 11 player had committed to Georgia.

The Bulldogs have now added six of the state’s best prospects and they could add one more.

Quarterback Justin Fields (Harrison), linebacker Adam Anderson (Rome, AJC's Player of the Year), defensive end Brenton Cox (Stockbridge), wide receiver Kearis Jackson (Peach County) and offensive linebacker Jamaree Salyer (Pace Academy) joined one of Georgia's highest-ranked recruiting class during the early signing periodin December.

Lee County safety Otis Reese picked Georgia Wednesday after being committed to Michigan.

Georgia has signed five Super 11 players each of the past two seasons and six the year before.

Clemson nabbed three of the AJC Super 11 players: quarterback Trevor Lawrence, defensive end Justin Mascoll and cornerback Kyler McMichael.

Bainbridge running back Dameon Pierce is a Florida Gator.

Brookwood's Matthew Hill, a wide receiver, has been committed to Auburn, but has yet to sign.
