UGA starting tailback Caleb King has been ruled academically ineligible for the fall semester.

Crowell's future has been a hot topic since the departure of Washaun Ealey (3), the team's leading rusher last season. But coach Mark Richt still has faith in senior Caleb King (4), saying that King 'has become a a very dependable football player.'

King entered UGA with much hype after signing in 2007, but was redshirted that year and gained 247 yards as a backup to Knowshon Moreno in 2008.

King rushed for 594 yards and seven touchdowns as a redshirt sophomore in 2009 ...

... and later transferring to Greater Atlanta Christian ...
