Ticket demand has been soft, to say the least, for the Sugar Bowl. As of Monday, tickets for Wednesday night’s game in New Orleans between Georgia and Baylor were offered on the secondary market for as little as $13, a small fraction of the original face-value price.
Various secondary-market sites had tickets starting around or under $20 (before fees) Monday, including a low of $13 on StubHub for upper-level corner seats. The tickets were even cheaper last week, when prices were as low at $6 on StubHub.
By comparison, original face-value prices on the primary market for Sugar Bowl tickets started at $100 in the upper deck of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

According to TicketIQ data, the current resale prices for the cheapest seats are the lowest for the Sugar Bowl since a Florida-Louisville matchup on Jan. 2, 2013.
Across all seat locations, the average asking price on the secondary market for the Georgia-Baylor game is $125, according to TicketIQ.
The Sugar Bowl isn’t the biggest college football postseason game in New Orleans this season: The national championship game will be played there on Jan. 13. The cheapest available resale tickets for that game between Clemson and LSU were listed at around $800 on Monday.
