- UGA lands nation's top prospect | QB flips from Ohio State to Georgia
Most of the players in Georgia’s 2019 recruiting class have sent in their letters-of-intent on the first day of the Early Signing period Wednesday.
All together, Georgia snagged five 5-star recruits.
Coach Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs are still waiting to hear from a few targeted high profile recruits, among them No. 1-rated wide receiver Jadon Haselwood and cornerback Tyrique Stevenson who will publicly announce their commitments on Jan. 5. Hawaii quarterback Dillon Gabriel also will sign Wednesday, but a time is not yet known.
Two star recruits — Trey Sanders, the nation’s No. 1 running back from Florida, and 5-star offensive tackle Evan Neal — both spurned Georgia for Alabama.
