CB Jaylon King turns in letter of intent

Dec 20, 2017

One of the highest-rated prospects among Georgia Tech’s commits has turned in his letter of intent – cornerback Jaylon King of Nashville, Tenn. King selected Tech over offers from Tennessee, Louisville and Ole Miss.

Beyond cornerback, King, a 4-star prospect (247 Sports composite), is 6-foot-1 and 170 pounds, and has the sort of length that coaches have prioritized at the position. He also played wide receiver and quarterback and returned punts.

“He’s done about everything at that school,” safeties coach Andy McCollum said on the team’s Facebook broadcast about King. “He’s had a great career, and I think he’s got a chance to compete early.”
