Much-improved Georgia Tech played its best game of the season Saturday at Virginia, and now comes home for the rest of the season, beginning with Virginia Tech at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

The Hokies come to Atlanta having won three of their past four games, with the loss coming on the road against Notre Dame, 21-20 two weeks ago.

Virginia Tech’s season began slowly, with losses in its first two games against Power 5 schools, 35-28 at Boston College in the season opener and 45-10 against Duke three weeks later. The Hokies’ 6-3 mark includes victories against Old Dominion of Conference USA and Furman of the FCS.

Georgia Tech reports using 15 freshman and 15 redshirt freshman this season, including redshirt freshman James Graham, who has taken a strong hold on the quarterback position, and freshman receiver Ahmarean Brown, whose five touchdown catches are two shy of Tech’s record for a freshman, set by Calvin Johnson in 2004.
