On Tuesday morning, Georgia Tech announced the signing of an offensive lineman from Florida who committed to the school in April. Offensive tackle Cade Kootsouradis of Crestview, Fla., was announced as the team’s first signee of signing day.

Kootsouradis, 6-foot-4 and 295 pounds, committed to Tech last spring, but was not part of the December signees, as it appeared that Tech coaches were managing the roster and waiting to see how many players, either high-school seniors or transfers, would sign. Kootsouradis actually had a signing ceremony, but his signing was not announced by Tech.

He becomes the 22nd high-school senior to join the class and the 24th signee, counting grad-transfer offensive linemen Ryan Johnson from Tennessee and Devin Cochran of Vanderbilt. Cochran’s addition also was announced Wednesday morning.

Including Cochran and Johnson, Tech has now added add eight offensive linemen to the roster, adding a mix of experience and youth to a spot that needed help with depth.
