Georgia State football adds HBCU to 2020 schedule

Georgia State will host Savannah State in football in 2020.

The game will be played on Sept. 20, 2020 and will be their second meeting. Georgia State won the first, 55-21, in 2010.

Savannah State plays on the FCS level in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.

Georgia State (0-1) will play at Air Force (1-0) on Saturday.

Here are the Panthers’ scheduled non-conference games:

Sept. 2 vs. Tennessee State (Georgia State will pay $325,000)

Sept. 16 at Penn State (Georgia State will receive $1.2 million)
