Former Georgia Tech guard Curtis Haywood will transfer back home to Tulsa. Haywood, who submitted his name to the transfer portal in late March, made the announcement of his decision Monday.

Haywood played two seasons for the Yellow Jackets, appearing in 44 games and averaging 5.5 points while playing 22.6 minutes per game.

In transferring to Tulsa, where he’ll play for former Miami and Missouri coach Frank Haith, Haywood will be back in his home state of Oklahoma. Haywood is from Oklahoma City.

Haywood will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
