The Hawks promoted Tori Miller to assistant general manager of the College Park Skyhawks, the team’s NBA G League affiliate, the team announced Tuesday.

Miller spent the past two years as manager of basketball operations with the team, including its time in Erie, Pa.

The Skyhawks begin play for the 2019-20 season at the Gateway Center Arena.

“Tori has a varied basketball background from scouting, personnel and player relations to sales and marketing,” said Skyhawks general manager Derek Pierce said in a statement. “She will continue to play an integral role in the development and management of our G League team, and we’re excited to elevate her to a position commensurate with her contributions and responsibilities.”

Miller, a native of Decatur, worked as a basketball operations intern for the NBA’s Suns from 2014-16. She is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Business in 2013.
