The Hawks made two roster moves official with Daniel Hamilton and Alex Poythress signing previously agreed upon contracts on Monday.

Vince Carter is the final player with a contract agreement with the Hawks that remains unsigned. The veteran is expected to sign later this week.

Hamilton, a 6-foot-7 guard/forward, agreed to a one-year deal. He spent last season on a two-way contract with the Thunder. He played six games for the Thunder and averaged 2.0 points and 1.3 assists in 4.7 minutes. He played 45 games with the Thunder’s G League affiliate, the Blue, and averaged 16.1 points and 4.7 assists in 32.8 minutes. He appeared in 49 games with the Blue as a rookie in 2016-17 after being a second-round pick (No. 56 overall) in the 2016 NBA draft by the Nuggets after two seasons at Connecticut. He was later traded to the Thunder.

“I’m real excited about being here,” Hamilton told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “I think this is a great opportunity for me to make a name and bring what I can to the table. Just come in and work hard every day and continue to keep getting better, for sure.”

Hamilton, who played in the Las Vegas Summer League with the Thunder in July, has a guaranteed contract worth $1.4 million. He will wear No. 5.

Poythress signed a two-way contract with the Hawks. The 6-7 forward spent last season on a two-way contract with the Pacers and had his contract converted in December. In 25 games with the Pacers he averaged 1.0 points and 0.7 rebounds in 4.2 minutes. He played in seven games in the G League with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants and averaged 20.0 points, 8.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.3 blocks in 24.0 minutes. Poythress played six games for the 76ers and 46 games for the Mad Ants as a rookie in 2016-17 after going undrafted out of Kentucky. Poythress played for new Hawks head coach Lloyd Pierce during his time in the 76ers organization.

“It’s a young team and I’m excited to join,” Poythress told the AJC. “I’m going to try to do big things, be a part of the future going forward and try to make some noise.”

He Tennessee’s Mr. Basketball following his senior year at Northeast High School in Clarksville. He also earned Parade and McDonald’s All-America honors. He will wear No. 22.

Poythress can play up to 45 days with the Hawks before his contract must be converted. He will play for the Hawks’ G League affiliate, the Erie BayHawks.
