As Braves fans on the lookout for signs of optimism keep their eyes focused on the team’s heralded youth, prospect Ronald Acuna has captured most of the attention. Another key player to watch is second baseman Ozzie Albies.

Albies, 21, made his major league debut Aug. 3 against the Dodgers and hit .286 with six home runs and 28 RBIs in 217 at-bats.

A native of Curaco, a Caribbean island long familiar to Braves fans, Albies has been one of the team's top prospects since this rebuild began. The second-base job is his for the taking, and every expectation is that he will latch onto it and keep it.

Take a look at the above video and check out some things you may not know about Albies.
