There are the teams and players most associated with rumored exchanges for Braves pitcher Julio Teheran.

The Braves have been heavy traders under GM John Coppolella so it's no surprise the team and its players keep surfacing in potential deals. One of the most frequent names that emerges is that of pitcher Julio Teheran, 25. The Braves' ace is under contract over the next three seasons for roughly $28.14 million, plus a club option for $12 million in 2020. Here are the teams (and players) most publicly linked in a potential Teheran trade ahead of the Aug. 2 deadline:

Former Braves GM Frank Wren is Boston's vice president of baseball operations. Infielder Travis Shaw (above) has been among the names mentioned in potential deal, along with those of top prospects Yoan Moncada, Andrew Benintendi, or Blake Swihart.

The Braves and Dodgers were trade partners last season. Two players -- center fielder Joc Pederson (above) and pitching prospect Jose De Leon -- are two names floated in a potential trade. Also named has been outfielder Yasiel Puig.

The Cubs have been long been rumored to want the Braves' Julio Teheran. Among the names previously link to a likely deal were infielder Javier Baez and outfielder Jorge Soler (above).

Detroit slugger Nick Castellano is among the names associated with a potential trade for Braves pitcher Julio Teheran.

World Series champs could use some pitching. A Julio Teheran trade, according to some bloggers, could fetch the Braves Royals third baseman Hunter Dozier (above) or prospect Jorge Bonifacio.

The Braves have already dealt with the Orioles once this year, acquiring Brian Matusz and a draft pick. The Braves quickly waived Matusz and kept the draft pick. What else Baltimore could offer in terms of prospects is limited. A trade here would have to include major-league talent.

Baseball online prospectors have fancied a Julio Teheran exchange with the Rangers for third baseman Jurickson Profar (above) Joey Gallo or Lewis Brinson.

Marlins outfielder Marcell Ozuna is among the names associated with a potential trade for Braves pitcher Julio Teheran.
