Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman was a late scratch Sunday due to a head cold. Charlie Culberson filled in at first.

Freeman had been feeling sick in the last few days, but persisted through it to play the first three games of the series in Arizona.

The Braves are trying to take three of four in Phoenix for the second consecutive year. Max Fried started for Atlanta, opposing Zack Godley of the Diamondbacks.
