Freddie Freeman looked regular-season ready in his first game of spring Monday.

The Braves first baseman hit a long two-run homer in the fourth inning off Washington’s J.J. Hoover in an exhibition game. Ozzie Albies drew a walk before Freeman’s shot.

“I hit it off the scoreboard in right center off my face,” Freeman said. “So that was good.”

Freeman also made a noteworthy diving play to rob a hit in the second inning. He’s coming off his first Gold Glove award in 2018.

The Braves’ face of the franchise said he’ll also play in Tuesday’s home game versus the Mets.
