Dansby Swanson is heating up.

The Braves’ 22-year-old shortstop prospect, playing for the Double-A Mississippi Braves, had a homer and four RBIs Monday and has five hits in his last 12 at-bats.

Swanson has raised his batting average to .272.

He has two homers in his past three games and seven in 63 games with Mississippi. He had just one homer in 21 games at Single-A Advanced Carolina earlier this season before being promoted.

Between the two stops, Swanson has eight homers, 45 RBIs and a .287 batting average in 84 minor-league games.
