Three Atlanta United players were called up by their national teams for matches.
Winger Saba Lobjanidze (Georgia), midfielder Bartosz Slisz (Poland) and centerback Luis Abram (Peru) were honored.
Lobjanidze and Georgia are scheduled to take on Czechia on Saturday and Albania on Sept. 10 in UEFA Nations League matches. Lobjanidze has six goals and seven assists for Atlanta United and 37 caps for Georgia.
Slisz and Poland are scheduled to play Scotland on Thursday and Croatia on Sunday in Nations League matches. Slisz has one goal and one assist for Atlanta United and 11 caps for Poland.
Abram and Peru are scheduled to play Colombia on Friday and Ecuador on Sept. 10 in two World Cup qualifying matches. Abram has 42 caps for Peru.
Atlanta United’s next match is scheduled to be against Nashville on Sept. 14 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
