Neither Chris McCann nor Franco Escobar will be eligible for Atlanta United’s 18 for Sunday’s game against New York Red Bulls at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

McCann is recovering from a hamstring strain sustained before the Chicago game two weeks ago. Escobar is recovering from a chest injury sustained during that game.

McCann resumed individual workouts earlier this week. Escobar did some work with the rest of the team on Thursday.

McCann has started seven games this season. Escobar has started four with five appearances.

With both centerbacks out for last week's game at Orlando, manager Gerardo Martino gave Miles Robinson his second start. The Five Stripes won 2-1 and Robinson played well.

Martino said he expects to have everyone healthy for the game at New England on May 30.
