Atlanta United’s Carlos Carmona has arguably the best plan for the pending break following Atlanta United’s game against San Jose on Tuesday.
Carmona will get married in his native Chile.
He and his wife have been married in a court, but they are going to have another ceremony in a church.
Carmona, 30, joined Atlanta United after nine seasons playing in Italy. He has 16 appearances, including 15 starts, this season.
The players will get a few days off at the end of this week, and will report back to the team to begin training on Monday.
The team won’t play again until July 21 at Orlando City.
Fullback Greg Garza said he and his family may go to Destin if the weather improves.
