Atlanta native Christian Coleman breaks NCAA 100m record

University of Tennessee junior Christian Coleman set the NCAA record for the 100 meters on Wednesday.
At the 2017 NCAA Track and Field National Championship in Eugene, Ore., Coleman won the 100 meters semifinal with the record-breaking time of 9.82 seconds.
A junior sprinter and jumper at Tennessee, Coleman attended Our Lady of Mercy Catholic High School in Fayetteville, Ga.

Coleman, the 2017 SEC 100 meters Champion, ran the ninth fastest 100 meters in history and the best in the world so far this year in the 100 meters on Wednesday, according to Bleacher Report.
