Hawks players already are $100,000 richer after their NBA Cup quarterfinals win over the Knicks on Wednesday.

There is more money at stake.

Mouhamed Gueye gives the Atlanta Journal-Constitution a behind the scenes look at life at the Hawks’ training grounds.

By advancing to the semifinals of the league’s in-season tournament, Hawks players each will bank at least $102,994, the prize money for losing in the final four. The Hawks advanced to Las Vegas and will play the Bucks on Saturday. The other semifinal will have the Thunder against the Rockets.

If the Hawks make the championship game, which will be played Tuesday in Las Vegas, they each will receive $514,971 for winning and $205,971 for losing the title game.
